The Bluebells of Portbury
On winding path through woodland
The leaves of green between
Announced by vibrant colour
Spring's special show is seen
Flowing down the hillside
Clothing all the ground
Cascades of purest bluebells
In hidden glades are found
A magnet here for tourists
Who've travelled far to see
This spectacle on May Day
The jewel of Portbury.
