Speeton Sands
Overlooking Speeton Sands
With waves a-breaking on the strand
Dawn's gold light across the beach
Blackberries in easy reach
A scrambling path to gain the shore
Down steep cliff steps - a drop before
The tumbled stones from past rock slides
As high above a grey gull glides
And then the climb to waiting seat
With views to make the day complete
