Lockdown Gigs

The gigs are all in lockdown
The oars are stowed away
The covers have been put on
Until another day
When virus is behind us
Corona just a drink
Of many happy memories
'Fore life was on the brink
The sea awaits the rowers
The slipway greets each wave
Our country will survive this
If we stay strong and brave.
