Kerbside Beauty
Campanula on the kerbside
A crevice out in bloom
Nature finds a foothold
Wherever there is room
A passing bird the gardener
Or seeded by the breeze
Surviving gales and downpours
And Winter's harshest freeze
A splash of vibrant colour
Along this town highway
A floral interjection
To brighten up the day.
