Invasive yet so beautiful

Intrusive yet such show

Himalayan Balsam

That clogs the canal flow

Flowers in pink profusion

Populate the view

Overwhelming other plants

That once would here show through

Busy Lizzie's cousin

A weed on waterway

'Twill take a mighty effort

To sweep it all away.
