Dial Hill View
From up on lofty Dial Hill
The town laid out below
With all Its well-loved landmarks
Proudly there on show
To the left the Salthouse Fields
Alongside Marine Lake
Shining in the sunshine
That greeted this daybreak
Poets' Walk a starting point
For promenading strolls
Past bandstand and the beaches
Where constant tide unrolls
To finish at Victorian pier
Pagoda at its end
Awaiting still the visitors
There happy hours to spend.
